It was narrated from 'Aishah, may Allah be pleased with her, the wife of the Prophet (PBUH), that the Prophet (PBUH) said:
"There is no gentleness in a thing but it adorns it, and it is not removed from something but it mars it."
[Sahih Muslim, the Virtue of Gentleness, Hadeeth No.6602]
Gentleness is a virtue all Muslims must strive to possess. Because Allah loves people who are gentle. As in the words of the Prophet (PBUH), ''he who is deprived of gentleness, is deprived of goodness." Gentleness when applied to anything only makes it beautiful.
Being too harsh and radical is not a trait of the Muslim. Of course, that is not to say, the Muslim should be a coward. But being gentle means approaching people and issues in a good manner. Not being rogue and violent in any kind of speech or action.
Allah is gentle, loves gentleness and rewards for gentleness.
A fast will break by items (not forgetfully) going into: 1) throat 2) nose (inhaled) 3) rear passage 4) perforated ear drums
Also If a person suffers an asthma attack whilst fasting & needs to use an inhaler, he may break the fast & do Qadha later. And Insertion of suppositories up the rear passage will invalidate the fast.
