Abu Huraira may Allah be pleased with him narrated: Allah's Messenger [PBUH] said:
"Look at those who are less fortunate than you but don't look at those who are more fortunate than you, so that you will not underestimate the favours Allah has bestowed upon you."
There are a lots of problems within our Muslim communities today, especially among the youth is one of unhealthy competition. The rat race. The I-must-also-have-it syndrome. We are virtually blinded by materialism. We always compare with those who appear better than us, materially. And because of that, we blind our sights to the favours bestowed unto us by Allah, the most high, and the most exalted.
No matter where your station in life is now, you are better than many. Look at those who are less fortunate than you, and you will realise how surrounded you are by the blessings and favours of Allah.
Never underestimate the favours of Allah upon you. And be a grateful servant.
Fasting isn't obligatory on those who aren't mature.They can be encouraged to fast & can start eating whenever they want.
